Halt Lifecycle testing
HALT, Highly Accelerated Lifecycle Test or HASS, is A testing method that subjects your product to different environmental stresses in an attempt to accelerate fatigue to identify weak links in the design or product and does so in hours instead of years. This environmental testing takes place in specialized HALT/HASS chambers focusing on the 4 categories:
1 Thermal Step Stress (Hot and Cold)
2 Rapid Thermal Cycling
3 Vibration Step Stress
4 Combined Environment
